Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect

When you sign up and use the Service, we store:

• Your email address and name — so you can log in and so other pool members know who you are
• Your profile photo — only if you sign in with Google and it's already on your Google account, or if you upload one
• Pool activity — which pools you've created or joined, your payment status within a pool, messages you post, and any ticket photos you upload
• Saved Pro content — if you use Professional tools, sets of numbers you choose to save
• Push notification token — only if you tap "Allow" when the app asks for notification permission. You can revoke this any time in your device settings.
• Billing information — if you subscribe to Professional, a limited set of billing details described in Section 6 (never your full card number)
• Ad measurement data — on our website, cookies from Meta and Google record visits and sign-ups so we can measure our ads (Section 7)

Pool buy-ins and winnings happen directly between members — we don't touch that money and don't collect any of it.

2. How We Use It

• To run your account and let you participate in pools
• To show your name and photo to other members of pools you join
• To provide and manage a Professional subscription, if you buy one
• To send you notifications about pool events (new draws, invites, results) — only if you've allowed notifications
• To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse, and comply with the law

We do not use your pool activity, messages, ticket photos or payment details for advertising, and we don't let advertisers target you based on them. The only ad-related use is measuring our own ads, described in Section 7.

3. Where It's Stored

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase — a cloud platform operated by Google LLC, hosted in the United States. Firebase uses industry-standard encryption and security practices. You can read about Google's data practices at firebase.google.com.

4. Who Can See Your Information

Your personal information is only shared in these situations:

• Other pool members can see your name, profile photo, and payment status within pools you've joined — the same information you'd share with someone in a group chat
• Service providers that run the app for us — Google Firebase (hosting and storage) and Stripe (payments) — process data on our behalf, only as needed to operate the Service
• When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the Service
• Our team, to operate the Service — authorized personnel may review reported content and account information as needed to investigate abuse, provide support, and keep the Service safe

We never sell or rent your information, and we never share it with data brokers. The only data our ad partners receive is what Section 7 describes.

5. Keeping Your Data

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active, and only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires. You can delete your account any time from the Delete Account page — either using the in-app flow or by emailing us. Full details of what gets removed and what stays are on that page.

6. Payments (Professional Subscription)

The optional Professional subscription is processed by Stripe, Inc., a PCI-compliant payment processor. When you subscribe, Stripe collects and stores your payment details directly — we never see or store your full card number. We store only:

• a Stripe customer ID and subscription ID,
• your plan status and billing interval (monthly or yearly), and
• your current period end date,

so we can show your plan and let you manage or cancel it. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by its own privacy policy at stripe.com.

7. Ads and Measurement

We advertise the Service on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google. To learn which ads bring people in, our website — thelotterypool.net, which older versions of our app also display — uses the Meta Pixel and the Google tag. They use cookies to record page visits, and when someone creates an account or taps an App Store or Google Play button.

• Meta receives, when you create an account: a one-way scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address, your IP address, your browser type, the page address, and Meta's own cookie IDs — so Meta can match the sign-up to an ad you saw.
• Google receives the pages visited and that a sign-up or store tap happened, along with Google's own cookie IDs. We don't send Google your email or name.
• Neither ever receives your pools, messages, ticket photos, or payment details, and neither runs on our sign-in and password-reset pages.

You can block these cookies in your browser or with an ad blocker — the Service works the same without them. You can also manage how Meta and Google use ad data in your Facebook ad preferences and at myadcenter.google.com.

8. Your Choices

You can update your name and photo in your profile, turn notifications on or off in your device settings, cancel a Professional subscription from your billing settings, and delete your account at any time. To ask what data we hold about you or to request deletion, email support@thelotterypool.net.

9. Kids Under 18

This app is for adults only (18+). We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a minor has created an account, please let us know and we'll remove it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service evolves. We'll update the date at the top when we do, and give reasonable notice of material changes.
